It’s the final day of the year 2014first day of 2015, and as per usual I’m going to go through what we’d seen in the past 4 season and talk about shows that I didn’t manage to fully discuss due to the lack of commitment throughout the year. 2013 was a fantastic year, with the likes of Gatchaman CROWDS, Uchouten Kazoku and Kyousougiga dominating the top of the list, and Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta being my lasting favourite series from that year 12 months later. As a whole 2014 doesn’t have that many strong series, but it did bring us something that’s truly special. Without further ado, let me present my top 10 series from 2014.
As the season is drawing to a close, I’m repeating myself once again. Nevertheless, even without too big of a standout, this season has been fun so far. I am reserving those finished series to their own groups of mini-reviews post, hence they won’t be in this one. Hopefully I can get them out as soon as possible as well. Anyway, here’s to an entertaining Winter.
With the final arc in sight, there seems to be a common theme in this week’s episodes in the sense that a lot of them ditched the lighter tone to drive the story to the climatic finale. No time to play around, it’s time to get serious.
So it’s time to reflect, as we are gearing towards the final month of the winter season, those climatic moments will start to roll by one after another. Brace yourself, for the driver is putting the foot down the accelerator. It’s now do or die time. By the way I put NtF on hiatus. Also, Sherlock is brilliant.
Allow me to just pretend that this post was out 3 days prior. There are some beautiful episodes this week. There’s a lot of delight, and one unfortunate disappointment. As a whole, prepare for more lagginess for the posts to come in the near future.
